Stage 6

The hike

This stage brings you to Italy. To be exact, you'll change country, to enter the Valle d'Aosta area - Valpelline. You'll cross a moutaineer environment during the whole stage : walk on glacier, moraine, and a pass at 3,087 meters. Take care about your equipement, the weather can be cold also in summer at this altitudes. The way is signaled on the glacier.

Not to be missed

• crossing the glacier Collon and the Collon pass -> you should write it down into your guestbook ;
• a well adapted equipment for this mountaineer stage, and a good physical condition for the (quite long) descent to Prarayer ;
• the views from the pass Collon 3,087 m ;
• enough batteries for your camera!
