The hike

In Rifugio Prarayer you'll find a very kind welcome by the Bionaz family. This mountain house is situated close to the reservoir lake of Place Moulin in the high Valpelline - a good reason to stay there with a romantic view.  

From the Colle di Valcornera, or di Valcournera 3,073 meters the view on Mont Dragon and the Grande Lago is perfect. In front of you opens the "conca di Cignana" where the hiker can rest at the Rifugio Perrucca-Vuillermoz 2,909 meters. You'll reach it after a 30 minutes walk from the Colle di Valcornera. Take a rest: the final descent to Breuil Cervinia is long - about 4 hours for 900 meters difference.

Not to be missed
